Wage and Hour Opinion Letters

Since we are no longer subscribing to our trial of CCH Online, Westlaw is the source to use for accessing Wage/Hour Opinion Letters.

The database you will need to search is: FLB-WHOL

The FLB-WHOL database contains most WH opinions but references to individuals, their addresses and their businesses may be confidential and are deleted from some of the opinion letters. Coverage of FLSA opinion letters begins in January 1970 and coverage of FMLA opinion letters begins in June of 1993.

NOTE: Searching this database is often very tricky. Searching by Company and/or address or date may not be possible so it is best to search by KEYWORD and a date range.

Here in the Wirtz Labor Law Library we have hard copies of opinion letters dating back to 1961.
