Thomas

The Library of Congress has assembled a very good web site for congressional legislation, Thomas, "In the Spirit of Thomas Jefferson, a service of the Library of Congress".

Although many of you may be familiar with searching by bill number or relevant text, there are other features that are very useful. The main page has links to House and Senate committee home pages, directories, and committee reports, as well as links to GPO, GAO, CBO, AOC, and others. It also has historic documents such as the Bill of Rights and the Constitution, as well as links to material from the Constitutional Convention, current House and Senate Calendars and a wealth of other information.

If you would like further assistance in searching for legislation, you can review the FAQs on the Thomas web site or contact the Wirtz Labor Library.
