The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and the General Services Administration (GSA) have established a joint web site on the subject of telework, also known as telecommuting. The site, http://www.telework.gov, provides access to guidance issued by both agencies that will be helpful to federal employees and to contract personnel. The site offers information to employees who think they might like to telecommute, such as a link to the OPM Telework Manual, as well as guidance for managers and supervisors who supervise teleworkers. The site provides a listing of all federal agency telework coordinators, the telework policies of individual federal agencies, and offers links to Public Laws that include language related to the subject of telework.
