Review Commission The
Occupational Safety & Health Review Commission (OSHRC),
an independent Federal agency that decides contests to
citations or penalties resulting from OSHA inspections of
American work places, functions as an administrative
court. The Review Commission has established procedures
for conducting hearings, receiving evidence and rendering
decisions by its Administrative Law Judges (ALJs).
OSHRC's Rules of Procedure also
includes information about E-Z Trial procedures. Guides
to the Review Commission's procedures and E-Z Trial
procedures are included in the OSHRC Publications section.
OSHRC decisions of both the
Administrative Law Judges and the Commissioners can be
obtained online. ALJ decisions cover 1993-present and are
in alphabetical order by the case name. Commission
decisions cover 1972-present and are in either
alphabetical order by the case name or chronological
order by the final order date. The years with cases in
chronological order cover approximately 1972-1992 and the
years with cases in alphabetical order cover
approximately 1993-present including 1983 and 1991.
