| National Mediation Board The National Mediation Board was
established in 1934 through amendments to the Railway
Labor Act of 1926. NMB is an independent agency that
facilitates labor management relations within the
railroad and airline industries. NMB programs of
mediation, representation and arbitration provide an
integrated dispute resolution process. Some of the
resources on NMB's website are:

information about the Mediation process, how to
