| Company Searches on Lexis-Nexis LEXIS-NEXIS has information about
over 10,000 publicly traded companies, over 200,000
private companies, and over 30,000 international
companies. To be sure you are getting the most
information available, you may want to run your company
through news, public records, and company databases.
Depending on what your needs are and what information you
already have, running searches in multiple sources can be
a great way to uncover information. Following are sample
searches about both public and private companies:

Company Profiles & Directories
U.S. Company Reports
(The US Companies Group File combines all US company
profiles. This file covers more than 10,000 public and
200,000 private companies).
Sun Rich and FL
This search will locate records on any document
mentioning Sun Rich and Florida.
When you have very little
information with which to begin your research, it is a
good idea to start with a broad search and then use
information you pull from the documents you find. For
example, the previous search will return documents that
list William Neece as the attorney for the company. You
can search on his name to find other companies he has an
interest in. You can also try running the company name as
a nation wide search by leaving off "and FL".
