Age Discrimination in Employment Act Resources

The Employment and Training Administration at DOL has a web page called Public Laws & Regulations that provides the text of the Age Discrimination Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (P.L. 90-202), and the Older Americans Act of 1965, Title V (OAA), as amended by Public Law 106-501.

There is also a "Find It! By Topic" page on Age Discrimination that includes the laws (29 USC Section 621 and 29 USC Section 6101) and the regulations (29 CFR Part 37, 29 CFR Part 1625 and 29 CFR Part 1626).

Information from the Civil Rights Center provides information about the statutes and regulations enforced by CRC as well as information regarding CRC's mission, functions and compliance assistance.

EEOC, who enforces ADEA, provides the text of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, as amended, as it appears in Title 29 of the United States Code. Amendments from the Older Workers Benefit Protection Act (P. L. 101-433) and the Civil Rights Act of 1991 (P.L. 102-166) appear in boldface.
